An Autumn Harvest

Posted by Chad Anglin on

It sure hasn't felt like fall just yet with these Santa Ana winds here in San Diego; but these jarred fruits and preserves sure remind us of a season we've become nostalgic for, where fresh baked pies and spiced cider fill the air and knitted sweaters and soft socks hug our bodies. Mmmmm, so cozy!

So Chad's (the Big Boss here at Pigment) parents brought us a taste of Fall with their very own beautiful preserves. From the looks of it, they had an amazing harvest this year picking all the fruit and veggies from their very own orchards located in Nevada. And what better way to make sure nothing goes to waste than by canning and preserving your fruits and veggies for the Winter and sharing with friends and family?

We are smitten by the vivid colors! Especially with the plums on the far right. From right to left we have - red plums, Asian pears, tomatoes, and peaches.

A tasty collection of preserves.

The smaller jars are a picante preserve. yum!
