Fota Bistro Arm Chair

William Morris, the father of the Arts & Crafts movement, believed people should be surrounded by beautiful, well-made things; we tend to agree. Inspired by a pattern from the Morris archives, our Fota arm and side chairs are designed to evoke the bustling café life of Paris, but look equally at home against a long farmhouse table or a tucked-away kitchen nook.

Expertly steamed, shaped, and woven by hand from Indonesian rattan, using vegetable dyes.

Sustainably harvested rattan with rattan peel weave

To maintain the look and integrity of each piece, we recommend following the guidelines provided below.

Spot clean with a soft cloth using a soapflake solution (1 teaspoon of soap flakes dissolved in 4 cups of hot water). Avoid standing or kneeling on woven furniture to prevent breakage. If you live in a dry climate, woven furniture can be lightly misted with a spray bottle once a month and hydrated annually with boiled linseed oil.

We extend a 30-day return policy for items in sellable condition and with the original packaging, less a 20% restocking fee. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Once your return is processed, a shipping label will be provided, or pickup scheduled. All items must be sent back in the original packaging. If the original packaging is unavailable, the customer will be responsible for arranging equivalent packaging (both external box and protective materials). Returns that are soiled, damaged, or altered may not be accepted.

Your original method of payment will be refunded once items are received, inspected, and processed at our warehouse. Once approved, we will send an email confirmation – please allow 5-7 days for the refund to be reflected on your credit card.

Product Variation

Because we work with natural materials, certain distressing and/or inconsistencies may be part of the design and uniqueness of the product. These are not considered damages. Additionally, every screen displays color differently. Therefore, Woven assumes no liability for variations between the actual product coloring and how it is displayed on a screen.
