Curious creatures, playful silhouettes and quirky symmetry create an enchanting world that comes to life when printed on kitchen essentials. This tea towel comes gift ready in a sturdy cardboard tube and will look gorgeous hung in the kitchen.

The color of the towel is more of an earthy, light beige than the bright white that is pictured. Also, the print is forest green, not bright aqua. I actually prefer the darker look; it feels more appropriate to the subject matter.

I received the Folklore Tea Towel as a birthday present. In theory, it was a wonderful gift - the folklore pattern is absolutely beautiful. However, there were some things that detracted from it being completely amazing. The ink from the print was smeared all over the bottom of the towel. Since it is such a thick material, I was going to use it as a wall hanging (as, now I see, the product description suggests), but with the smear, it’s just not possible. I am weary that when I wash the towel to get rid of the stain, the folklore print will also fade away. The other thing that threw me off, is the afore mentioned thickness of the material. It is not exactly a linen-like "tea towel" type material. Also, it is not white like the photo shows. Instead, it is a thicker, brownish, canvas-like material. Which is not bad, if not that it was advertised as a tea towel.
